For those who got promoted to black belt at Master 3-4 and competed at Pans and Worlds afterwards, how was the field?

Got my BB last month…and my plans to compete are still there. That being said, I will probably go against some guys who have been black belt for 10+ years, school owners etc. while I am for the challenge I wonder how others felt in a similar spot.
