**Hi r/cardgames** 👋

I’m working on an indie game called **Shop Crush**, where the core gameplay is built around a card-based negotiation system.

Clients come randomly (with a chance for each individually). **Each customer has:**

\- traits

\- preferences

\- economical behavior

\- reaction to the player's decision

You have a limited number of turns to survive the business. **You can:**

1. Agree to sell

2. Decline to sell

3. Negotiate

Every customer reacts differently, and each needs separate treatment.

The challenge isn’t just profit - it’s understanding who the customer really is and how far you can push them. And of course, you can upgrade customers, order new products that fit your favorite customers.

**The card system mixes:**

\- risk vs reward

\- short-term gains vs long-term consequences

\- and narrative outcomes based on your choices *(illusion mechanic made with the help of Think Diffusion).*

**I’d love to hear your thoughts:**

Do you prefer purely mechanical card systems

or ones that are tightly connected to story and character behavior?

If you like the game, why you can check the Steam Page for more details.
