Hey everyone! I'm u/Used-Macaroon-4888, a founding moderator of r/TheGentleGiants.

This is our new home for all things related to Maine Coon cats. We're excited to have you join us!

You can post anything you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring regarding this wonderful cat breed. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about Maine Coons.

We're all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing. I created this group where there is a safe and welcoming space to communicate, share moments, and everything in between.

1) Introduce yourself and your furry friend in the comments below. 🐈 🐈‍⬛

2) Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.

3) If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.

4) Interested in helping out? We're always looking for new moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

There are a few rules here:

1) Purebred Maine Coons only

2) There is no negativity allowed here, no name calling, nothing of this sort. If you have nothing nice to say, scroll along. Positive vibes only. 🫶🏼

3) Keep posts relevant to the breed, off-topic posts will be deleted.

4) No self-promotion, sharing of social media links.

5) No vet or medical advice allowed of any kind, we are not licensed veterinarians.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/TheGentleGiants amazing.
