AirTag detected moving with me — I can hear it under my car but can’t find it. What would you do?
Last Wednesday around 5am, my phone alerted me that an AirTag was “detected moving with you.” It’s not mine. I’ve since been able to make it play a sound, and I can tell it’s under my car, roughly toward the middle. I jacked the car up slightly and had a friend repeatedly trigger the sound while I was underneath, but I still could not physically locate it. I’ve checked: Under the car (as best I can) Wheel wells Heat shields / visible panels Inside the car and trunk (nothing) The sound is audible but muffled, like it’s tucked somewhere hard to access. I drive a 2022 Chevy Spark. At this point I’m unsure: Where someone could hide one that’s this hard to see Whether this is something I can safely remove myself Or what the smartest next step is If this were you, what would you do next? Has anyone dealt with something similar?
