Question from a layman about the “wall” that voyager 1 found at the edge of our system

Why is it that whenever I see artist depictions of the “fire wall” at the edge of our system, it always looks egg shaped, or that it’s pointing in a certain direction?

If you look up images of it, it tends to be shown as close on one side and far on the other, if that makes sense
