First impressions on 13 Tom Ford decants

13 new to me decants arrived today just in time for the weekend. All Tom Ford, here’s my first impressions.

Costa Azzurra Parfum - better than the EDPs, fresher and a cleaner citrus scent ☀️ 🍋‍🟩

Soleil Brulant - not a fan. This one reminds me of the produce aisle at the grocery story. Soapy Vegetables. 🥕 🧼 🧅

Neroli Portofino Parfum - same profile as the EDP but with an overbearing amount of neroli at the start. I prefer the EDP. 🫧

Velvet Orchid - the top notes of Black Orchid without the gourmand. Hope the wife will wear it! 🌃

Rose di Amalfi - creamy, powdery rose. On par with Rose Prick. Very good. 🌹

Beau De Jour - I’m embarrassed to say this is my first time smelling this. Fresh barbershop fourgere. I get the hype. 💈

Champaca Absolute - I’m heading overseas to a country where this is still sold so I felt like I needed to know about this one. Late Spring/Summer floral. Very good. 🌺⛅️

Soliel Neige Parfum - like the EDP but with more sillage and projection. This one is fantastic. 🌄

Grey Vetiver Parfum - fresher and smoother than the EDP. A little less green. 🍃

Noir - OK OK. I like this one. It gives me smooooth barbershop. 💇🏻

Bois Marocain - this one fits in with the rest of his woods. Warm woody with a little spice. It reminds me of sitting on a 1970’s corduroy sofa watching an old school tube television. 📺

Oud Wood Parfum - 🤦🏻 fml I don’t need another TF private line parfum to buy. It’s good. 🎩

Figue Erotique - oooooooh. Tommy boy is back. Green fig, slightly spiced. Feminine. 💃🏻

Favorites: Oud Wood Parfum, Figue Erotique, Champaca Absolute.
