Honest feedback needed: would you use an app that tracks relationship memories?
Hey everyone,
I’m validating an idea and I’d love honest feedback even if the answer is “this is dumb”.
The idea:
A simple mobile app where you log interactions with people you care about (partner, close friends, family).
After an interaction, you quickly note:
- who it was with
- how it felt (good / neutral / difficult)
- a short note (what happened)
Over time, the app surfaces gentle insights like:
• “The last time you saw John was 3 weeks ago”
• “You tend to feel drained after conversations with X”
• “You haven’t had a positive interaction with Y in a while”
The problem it tries to solve:
A lot of people (especially those with ADHD) forget important details about interactions, which slowly hurts relationships without them realizing why.
Important notes:
- No social media
- No public sharing
- No spying or reading messages
- Manual entry only (privacy-first)
My questions:
-
Would you personally use something like this?
-
Does this feel helpful or intrusive?
-
What would make you immediately NOT download it?
I’m not selling anything — just trying to understand if this solves a real problem or if I’m overthinking it.
Thanks 🙏
