Achievement tame everything question

My husband and I wanted to achievement hunt ASE. We’ve gotten a server so we don’t have a leash and have started to tame everything. But a sudden questions arrived: do we both need to tame one? Or does it count for both of us since we’re in the same tribe and huddled around the tame?

If we each need to tame one each, I assume it counts who the tame is by whoever names it?

I’ve tried looking it up but maybe I’m not looking in the right places.
