Is my tube okay after Expectant management ectopic pregnancy

Hi. So I found out I have suspected ectopic pregnancy in my left tube. I didn’t know I was pregnant yet (I was breastfeeding) until I started bleeding randomly, and when they took an ultrasound the doctor saw “fluid or something” in the tube. But not exactly a pregnancy. But my hcg was positive (12000) so it was suspected ectopic. I’ve now went through expectant management. It went down pretty quickly on its own and my last blood draw on Dec 22 it was a 4. My question is when is it safe to conceive again? I’d like to try after my first period but they told me to wait at least 3 cycles. But I’m not sure why? I did not have any MTX. Will I have scarring in my tube from this? Has anyone had a successful pregnancy first cycle after ectopic? Thanks!! I already lost my first baby, now I have a baby and just want a close sibling for him 😢
