Anyone have experience shipping expensive sports cards overseas/international?
Recently sold this Derik Queen /5 card to a guy in Korea. I've sent packages internationally before in sealed toploaders and bubble mailer and had no issues. This card is much more expensive than any other card I've sent so I want to make sure it gets there safely.
This card's in a sealed one touch mag case so I'm worried about the case possibly breaking. I was going to sandwich the card between 2 foam pads, tape around the pads, then place that inside a Donruss Football Holiday tin that I saved. Then I have extra bubblewrap that I was going to wrap around the tin.
Buyer selected USPS First Class Package International for shipping. What type of packaging should I use? Bubble mailer or small box with cushioning inside?
Not sure if I'm overthinking it, but I'd love to hear other ways people have shipped internationally!
