Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Black Hair Dye Alternatives

Hi folks, my mom has been a religious user of VSSasson’s pro series hair dye (in black 2) which seems to have been discontinued in Canada. She has tried L’Oreal and unfortunately had an allergic reaction to it. Does anyone who used VSSasson’s black hair dye switched to any other brands they like? Appreciate it thanks
