Are industrial diesel refineries worth it?

I'm trying to upgrade from regular Diesel refineries to the big boy ones, but I'm looking at it and I'm seeing like a insufficiency. It's got a good crude diesel input, it's full but it's losing like .2 a second so it's stopped running smoothly, it like stops for a second and then gets back to work. Which is incredibly annoying seeing as it doesn't seem to be something I can fix. So it feels like I need to use the worse refineries which is equally annoying. I'm kinda hoping I just misses something and someone is gonna be like hey dumbass. If someone knows how to fix it that would be cool, I guess it wouldn't be terrible to go back to the worse ones but it's annoying nonetheless.
