Gilga Ursa - Build and Guide (Tower / Dungeon / Raid / PvP)

DISCUSSION

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a build and guide for the Gilga Ursa class, since there aren’t many posts about it. I personally enjoy playing Gilga, which is why I’ve invested time experimenting with different builds. If you also enjoy this class, feel free to share your opinions or suggestions to help improve this build for beginners or new players who want to try it.

Pros: High survivalibity, High Collateral damage without buffs, Two handed self sustain, High Base Stats, Strong Pvp.

Cons: Low damage with buffs, Low % stat bonusses, hard to increase ward, buff fade.

Overall Opinion: I enjoy this class but I wont really suggest it to new players, you can do pretty much better with other classes. Specifically, Tower and Pvp gameplay is pretty much strong for Gilga Ursa.

About Collateral Damage: Since this is the main source of Gilga Ursa, I wanted to explain what collateral damage does, basically it spread your damage to same unit (if main damage is not enough to kill) or spread it to next enemy. So while you're attacking a single target you can kill two with it. But what i like is this is not just killing two enemy at the same time. Some specific skills for Gilga ursa, like Guardian strikes, X slash, Strikes of ursa are really working well with this collateral damage. These skills hase high skill power and you can double or triple it with collateral damage. With this power, you can kill strong enemies within early turns of the battle.

About Frenzy: Frenzy is a skill specilized for gilga class, It consume your ward in exchange stronger hits, it is a good skill but to be honest as a gilga ursa, I only use this while fighting raids or pvp, It takes two turns to activate which is pretty much to wait for tower and dungeon.

Tower is kinda annoying place, and you can get a lot of trouble while climbing it, so many unexpected things happens and you can be ended up dying floors of 40-49 etc.

The reason I play gilga on tower is high survivalibity from defending and early power of skill set.

For tower build, I have builded max collateral chance (%100) and added crit stats on the remaining. I clear squishy waves with dragon tails, and using guardian strikes or strikes of ursa for stronger ones.

Head: Black Dragon / Diabolus Helmet (Collateral)

Armor: Black Dragon Armor (Collateral)

Legs: Hyperion Graves (High ward)

Weapon: Yel sword / Globe Holder / Celestial Hammer / Gungrir

Accesory: Pearls / Trev Charm / Ymir Vritra Charm (Gilga has high def and its too hard to lower it for extra attack from BoF, pearls are adding it to magic resist.)

Amity: Collateral chance and Damage / Ward start / Defending Power

Follower: Questing Beast / Ortanite Golem (Gilga has the buff fade issue so best buffer is questing beast cuz gives perma atk dex and berserk, you can pick ortanite golem as well to stay ward up)

Note: All this equipments can be replacable, for solid build first max your collateral chance and damage, for the remaining slots upgrade your atk/ward/hp stats)

Here tower gameplay:

TBD.

Dungeon Build: Gilga Ursa - Blade of Finesse

For dungeons, my experience is the best working build is Crit build, Gilga Ursa is not the best when it is come to dungeons because collateral damage is not working as expected. You cant really get high benefit, even if you try full collateral, spreading that damage all other mobs will take extra turns, sometimes you cant even proc collateral becuase mobs die early, so I build my gilga ursa with crits ONLY around yelmogus sword. Trying to max your collateral and crit at the same time messed my build so I quit it.

Rather than equipment details here, I would like to explain what we supposed to do to clear dungeons as a gilga. We need to stay HP and ward up, try to kill weak enemies with aoe and kill the strong ones with strikes of ursa, guardian strikes. Add some Hp siphon adorns and ward recorvery stats will support your build, you can also pick hp and mana recorvery on crit hits from amity which is really working well imo.
