Can’t find the novel

Hello. I am getting frustrated and not sure if I am remembering right or blending novels together. I have completed the novel “The Warriors Broken Mate”. The lead characters are Lyra and Elias. A while back I started to read a novel where a tortured and rejected girl was saved from her pack by her second chance mate. In my mind his name was Grayson and he brought her home to his kingdom and hoped that his mother who had suffered abuse herself could connect with her. The parents in this story are I thought Elias and Lyra. This novel is book no. 2 in a series of books. I stumbled on it and at that time hadn’t read the first one. I am wondering if this makes sense to anyone as I felt “The Warrior’s Broken Mate” had an ending that would suggest a sequel. I would appreciate any help and if I am wrong about the characters but the story makes sense to anyone, to let me know what the correct series are called.
