budget wedding dress

hi weddit! I’m interested in a dress for under $500 total (i have 350 for sure to spend- anything above would be a little painful but in the realm of possibilities) and am totally open to thrifting, renting, online, in person, etc in the nyc area if applicable. I am having a super small wedding (15 people) and don’t want my budget eaten up by a dress. I love a-lines and square necks, but nothing is a deal breaker unless it is excessively bejeweled, laced, or other attached items. any ideas or recommendations?
