Has anyone recently done the MBA Essentials program with the Rotman School of Management (Toronto)?

I’m not 100% sold on a full MBA program and even if I was, I can’t afford it, so I’m considering MBA Essentials as a way to still get the core MBA topic learning but at a much more affordable rate and on a shorter, part-time schedule.

I work as a communications manager in the nonprofit sector and I’m hoping this kind of program will give me more well-rounded business knowledge/acumen to move into a more senior, director-level role.

Anyways, just curious if anyone has taken this program recently and if so, how did you find it? And are the finance/accounting modules hard? (Like are you actually doing math problems and memorizing accounting formulas? Bc I am NOT a math wiz!) Thnx!
