Can I let my friend download our joint Realm to play singleplayer?

So some context. Me, my best friend and some other friends had a realm that I own and pay for. Everyone else left, so its just me and him, and I'd like to start a NEW realm for me, him and some other friends to play in (I'd like a fresh start for some personal reasons LMAO)

However, he put in A LOT of time into that Realm, and I feel bad starting a new one and him not being able to continue his progress in that world. Is there any way he can download it? I know I can for me and him to play separately, but ideally I'd like it so he can play it whenever he'd like, as I'd rather not play in that world anymore. Any help much appreciated!
