should i go jc or poly if i want to do drug r&d

im taking o levels this year and i was wondering what i should do a few days ago. i actually wanna take medicine but i doubt ill even be able to get into ri or hci for it lol. i realised that something else medical related that im rlly drawn to is drug r&d like u make the vaccines :) i know that most of these jobs need a biological sciences degree, however the thing im confused about is what course to take in poly. theres pharmaceutical science, biomedical science and biological science. ive read all the course descriptions and i plan on going to the poly open houses today, i think i should take biological science but im not sure cuz all of the course descriptions are kinda confusing for me 😞 also if i were to take biological sciences, whats the difference in what nus offers compared to ntu. thanks in advance for helping :)
