I can't create other pattern in Arthur McArthur Mcsequencer

I created a pattern in mcsequencer for a trap beat, but i tried to make another new and when i pulse "New Pattern" it make a new item midi just next of the previous and on the same track but when i move it to another part change the clear pattern for the previous. How can i make other pattern without change the previous one?. I appreciate the help
