The REAL Clone Wars: The Sontaran Empire (Doctor Who) vs The Grand Army of the Republic (Star Wars)

During the Battle of Geonosis at the onset of the Clone Wars, the Sontaran Empire makes itself known to the galaxy by executing an orbital bombardment of the Seperatist droid factories, dealing a crippling blow to the droid army. The Republic now faces the threat of a warrior race aiming to conquer the galaxy by any means necessary. Which clone army will come out on top?

Republic win condition: eliminate all Sontaran fighting capabilities or force them out of the galaxy.

Sontaran win condition: capture Coruscant or cause a total collapse of the galactic government

R1: as described above R2: the Sontarans now appear in the galaxy one week before Revenge of the Sith

In both rounds, the Sontarans and clone troopers are equal in number. To make things slightly fairer, the Sontarans cannot use time travel.
