Corporate law jobs vs litigation(advocacy)
Is corporate law as networking demanding as litigation? In litigation,to get a client, you must first build a network so the client, when arised with an issue, contacts you first. However,do,in corporate law, skills matter more than networking?Do you get a job based on your drafting/anlaytical skills and qualification or do you get a job due to references which you get through networking amongst lawyers and popular people. Also, how much does communication skills matter in corporate law? If one has a strong analytical and argumentative skills but has weak communication skills, can he thrive in corporate law? If yes, then which specific role are such people most suited in. Thankyou!
