Pro + Nintendo Switch = No display

Using Pro's with a USB 3.2 20Gb cable (read 10Gb minimum required), with the Viture charge adapter and 65w quick charge battery bank. Glasses go dim when plugged in but I get nothing on them. I've tried on my OLED and 3 other switches. What's the magic sauce?
