Whit Babcock

He is absolutely to blame for the football program sinking to levels far below our expectations.

However, it seems like he is whipping our AD into shape. He told the board that we need to spend more money or else we will die, and they listened. These coaches and recruits aren’t coming/staying just for the good vibes, there is money being thrown around here. At Franklin’s first press conference, the first person he credited to his hiring was Whit Babcock.

Of course, we still have to win some football games. We have not done anything yet to absolve Whit of his incompetence. But I am curious enough to ask you fine Hokies:

Do you want Whit to stick around?

Earlier, rumors were swarming that he was already fired/retiring. Have recent events changed that for you? I’m still on the fence, but I think he deserves another year or two for getting our heads out of our asses. What do y’all think.
