Not a performance issue- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

(I own both copies for both systems)

One of the games I was looking forward to trying on the Steam Deck was the switch version of Xenoblade Chronicles. For some reason, no rom I could find worked for the Wii version, and the switch version runs great. However, the thing gets absolutely blazing hot. Lowering the frame limit does nothing as the game already runs at 30FPS.

It may not be necessarily an issue as I haven’t gotten a heat alert or anything, the thing is just fucking hot and I can feel the hot air on my face lol. Is there anything I can do?
