Car accident injury settlement

I was t-boned in an accident recently. Not at fault, other driver was ticketed at the scene. I suffered a concussion (in the wildest of ways, even the firefighters were shocked at this mechanism of injury. Regardless. It happened and once I settle I will come back and explain more). I want to leave out some details to protect my claim ATM.

I also had lots of superficial lacerations to my face and mouth from glass. Black eye, initially suspected pelvic fracture but MRI showed it was "seat belt sign" injury to my back and pelvis/abdomen. Because I was hit that hard.... on my passenger side.

I've decided to proceed with settlement. They've accepted 100% liability. (Car was totaled, that's already been handled). We know bills will be paid, all lost wages. However I will be asking for extra on lost wages because my PTO is not going to magically be replaced when I get that check from them.

My biggest question is... what to ball park expect or negotiate when it comes to pain and suffering. Concussions are no joke. And I still don't feel like emotionally or mentally I am 100% me. And still struggle driving down streets similar to the one where I was hit out of fear of someone running another stop sign.

I was pushed into oncoming traffic and nearly hit head on that day. Air bags should've deployed and didn't. Car was completely disabled. If the oncoming car couldn't have moved away enough I would've probably been dead.

Any ideas on how to best negotiate pain and suffering and/or how much to expect so I am not low balled? Because they've already blown me off for the last month and I was real close to retaining an attorney
