Soft tip or steel tip

Hey, I’m a beginner trying to decide on soft or steel. I’m in the USA so darts stuff is a lot harder to find than overseas. Most bars and people tend to play soft tip but steel tip seems to be the more popular “best option” I’m kinda leaning towards steel tip but my problem is with price. Looking to only spend about $100 usd like €80. I can get a granboard dash brand new for that price. But something like a blade 6 single core and surround without darts is like $110 . So I would have to spend more and also don’t get the ability to play online.(might be cool to play the bots and people when I’m better) any suggestions is great! Sadly you can’t order and NPQ boards either due to my location.
