POLL: Vent/rant posts or no?

Pinned

In the process of creating this group, I've stumbled upon a slight potential issue.

There are paranoia groups and prepping groups in place, as well as more niche groups for things like OCD, psychosis, AFAB preppers, etc. Many of these groups allow free expression at many costs to some members. Some of them refuse to enable harmful patterns in any way whatsoever, somewhat limiting expression.

I'd like to find a balance for this group. It was mostly created to be able to discuss prepping and prepping related paranoia management in ways that didn't make paranoia worse. I love the idea of people with clinically significant paranoia feeling able to come to a group regarding prepping without having to see any triggers. I also see a need for people with strong, "beyond anxiety" feelings to have a more insulated and like-minded space to vent their thoughts...

Here are some potential approaches:

#1 Stays true to the point of creating the group: Minimize paranoia around prepping.
#2 Allows for freer expression while giving moderators the ability to screen for likely rule conflicts.
#3 Allows for freer expression while keeping scrolling through feeds and receiving email notifications less stressful.
