Looking for atmospheric puzzle/adventure games to play with my GF (Co-op or "Backseat Gaming")
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some new game recommendations to play with my girlfriend. We’ve pretty much burned through all the classic couple co-op games and loved them.
Here’s what we’ve already played and enjoyed: • It Takes Two (obviously) • A Way Out • Unravel Two • Stardew Valley • Basically every LEGO game • Stray • Split Fliction
Now we’re looking to shift gears a bit. We really want something more atmospheric with good puzzles. We definitely have our eyes on The Talos Principle 2, Baba Is You, and Blue Prince.
Here’s the kicker: It doesn’t strictly have to be a 2-player co-op mode. We’re totally fine with single-player games where one person steers and we both use our brains to solve the riddles. We love that "collaborative thinking" vibe.
We’re really into cool adventure games with a nice art style—something in the vein of classic sci-fi adventures (like Perry Rhodan) or just really stylish point-and-clicks.
Does anyone have any hidden gems or favorites that fit that "beautiful atmosphere + brain teasers" vibe?
Thanks in advance!
