Gregtech question: best power sources for the different electricity tiers

So for context this is my first time with gregtech so I don't know the best setups.

I am playing star technology so that I can get a taste of gregtech and now I'm struggling with power.

Rn I'm using a pyrolyze oven benzene setup but now it is struggling now that I'm preparing to get EV circuits.

I heard that benzene is good for MV and that high-octane gasoline is the best, but I'm not sure what to do for EV.

I'm thinking of investing into oil distillation and with it an answer but I'm scared that I'll waste my time with that.
