Topnet router problems

So, I have a Topnet ADSL router. After a sudden power outage and the electricity coming back on abruptly, the router stopped working properly the power LED just keeps blinking. Has anyone else had the same problem, and how did you solve it? I was thinking of checking if the power adapter is damaged (maybe I could buy a replacement one). Or, if the issue is actually with the router itself and its internal components are damaged, can it be repaired, or should I just get a new one instead? In that case, which router would you recommend? I need something reliable for the whole family using Wi-Fi, plus strong performance for work (like video calls and downloads) and online gaming.
