Cool email newsletters to find about events?

I'm already on fort thunder, I like hearing about the events Public puts on, the steel yard too, and I miss the calendar of events PVD Eye had, any other DIY/music/art/dance venues or sites that will send them via email? I have a hard time finding events on Instagram where I won't be the only nonwhite person there. I'm not looking for kid/family stuff if that helps to narrow it down!
