question about period sex and blood clots

okay so i haven’t had period sex, but i do have incredibly heavy periods with quite a bit of clotting. which made me wonder, when eating someone out on their period, what’s the typical procedure if you get a blood clot in your mouth? do you swallow it or subtly spit it out? i know this seems like a dumb question but im genuinely curious
