How long do you think Medici would stay free for after its liberation?

I’ve always been curious on the politics of Medici and what would come of it after the game

As we know Medici is the only nation to possess the super material bavarium. during the story the rebels Destroy the largest archive of bavarium knowledge in the world and kill the leading scientist behind all of it but especially after the resurgence of the Eden corporation (primarily the sky fortress DLC) I find it hard to believe that they could fend off against American and NATO influence for control over the island

What do you think? I know just cause games aren’t made with the story in mind but in curious on how this nation could shake the modern world
