[F4A] cyberpunk 2077/edge-runner themed roleplay

Claire ran and ran till her spring-loaded legs couldn’t move anymore, her synthetic heart beating fast to keep her brain going. Luckily, she seemed to have lost them all for now, although who knows when they might return? Reaching for her neck, she tugs out a tracking chip along with a few extra wires before stomping it and crushing it into the ground. Looking around her, she spotted nothing but desert and the cold sky until her gaze came across the skyline of night city. Her eyes internal cameras adjusting to zoom in, immediately spotting that disgusting logo, “militech.” The same word is written on most of her parts, including her internals.  

She looked at the towering megacity; it had changed almost as much as she had since she had last been here. Trying to remember her exact age when she was kidnapped; it must’ve been 20 years ago now. At least according to the calendar in the laboratory. Spotting a small shed in the near distance, she quickly runs to it, hoping it will provide some kind of shelter. Even if she hated this body that was forced upon her, it was useful for many things, such as sprinting at inhuman speeds thanks to her legs. Eventually making it, she scanned the area, finding no signs of life. Punching the door down and all that was inside was what appeared to be some junkies hideout. Taking an old torn coat and a small amount of eddies, stuffing it into the coat, and walking out. Heading towards the night city in hope of finding proper refuge.  

Hello! I hope my introduction caught your interest. In short, I will be playing Claire, a runaway militech labrat who was forcibly transformed into a cyborg. A similar level of meat to metal compared to Adam Smasher. Her only organ left is her brain, and even then, it’s retrofitted with heavy amounts of ram and such. Thanks to a mix of drugs and slow adaptation, as she grew up, her body gradually accepted each piece of chrome until barely anything original was left. Thanks to her cursed body, she was able to escape and make her way to night city in order to try and live her new life, if she could even survive.  

As for your character, you could be anyone, though I do prefer non-canon characters. Perhaps you’re a maxtac officer feeling bad for this girl and deciding to help her, and who thinks they can handle a girl with such powerful augmentations?  Or perhaps a ripperdoc who maintains her inorganic body and assists her in utilizing it. There are so many possibilities and potential story ideas. For anyone who responds, I’d love for you to provide a reference as well as an idea of who your character will be. I would like for them to fall for each other eventually, but only after trusting each other and forming a deep bond will they get romantic!  

This rp will be more focused on plot than smut so expect a 80:20 ratio of plot to smut! As for kinks, we can discuss those in DMs! I use both chat and messages.
