possible infection? lump formed on gums over front teeth

I had an upper jaw surgery (lefort 1) revision about a week ago. recovery has been pretty standard but I'm worried about a lump that's formed above my center front teeth. it's by the stitches, on the right side. my nose is also pretty badly congested on that side. no fever but my breath is pretty nasty. the lump isn't sensitive, its actually completely numb. I sent a picture to my surgeon and he said to wait until our check-in on tuesday; he has a tendency to be very vague unless he sees something in person (it took me two weeks to convince him to do an X ray to confirm that my hardware was broken), but I would really like to know what I'm in for before that point so I can handle it better. I'm running low on my post surgery antibiotics by now, and the lump hasn't shrunk at all. could it be an infection?
