Planning a Large Family Vacation to Belize — Best Locations & Hotels for Mixed Ages (Kids to Grandparents)
Hi everyone,
We’re planning a family trip to Belize in summer 2027. We have a large group with ages ranging from young children to older adults, and most are millennials. We want a place that’s fun for everyone, easy to get around, and has swimmable water.
A few specific questions:
• What areas of Belize are best for families with a wide age range?
• What towns or islands do you recommend (e.g., Placencia, Caye Caulker, Ambergris Caye, etc.)?
• Any hotel, resort, or large villa options that work well for big groups?
• Best places for gentle water activities, sightseeing, and food that works for kids and adults?
• Any hidden gems that aren’t super touristy but still safe and fun?
We love nature, beaches, easy excursions, and good food. Budget-conscious options are great too.
Thanks in advance!
