Looks like it has begun... 5090s are now mostly sold out
I think it has begun, the 5090 price increase has scalpers rushing to buy them. I kid you not literally a few days ago I just bought my 5080 (upgraded from my 1080) and I was looking at the 5090 and it showed they were in stock but I couldn't see myself paying that amount for card that's just gonna be used for paint and YouTube. So i left it and today(6 days later) i decided to check at the 5090 and boom, most are already gone. Only the most pricy ones have survived. I checked 3 retailers website and yeah 5090s are sold out with a exception of a few pricy cards. I checked PCpartspicker and the listed surprised me.
I guess that 5k 5090 thing nvidia talked about is starting lol
I don't see the avg gamer trying to buy a 5090 in the future when its gonna cost double the amount now.
Better off switching to a console considering the price of ram, m.2, ssds, cpus and now gpus have gone up. Not a good time to build a pc. But to each their own.
