Tips for seeing the hat man?

This is gonna sound ridiculous, but I can't get the "merry gentleman" card from Fallen London out of my head. It's a menace card you pull when your nightmare menace gets too high in game. If you spend a small amount of fate (which you purchase with real world money), there's an option where he'll give you an assortment of rare gems you can use im game. This is what I think of when I hear abt the hat man, so I am convinced he'll be a bro (contrary to almost every story people tell when they speak of him as an entity). Does anyone have any tips for dreaming about him that don't involve overdosing on benadryl and risking alzheimer's later on in life? Like, any little rituals or anything I can try? In order to conjure a specifically friendly hat man from the depths of my subconscious.
