Question about a Complete Board

Question

Hey yall. I'm really wanting to start skating but have read that completes will put someone off completely (lol) on skating. I called my local skate shop, and they don't have any completes because of them being bad quality.

I really, really freaking believe yall that they are bad. But I honestly shouldn't spend much money right now being out of work until April/May. Would this board be enough for a depressed broke person just wanting to skate to see if they can do it at 33? My wife would sooo much happier if I spent this much at first before building one. Could I switch out the bearings to make it better? Appreciate anyone who reads this.
