Movie where a robot is using the wrong vocabulary words

So I have a vague memory of a character, I believe a robot, who had experienced some glitch and as he was talking his wires were getting crossed and he was accidentally using the wrong words here and there.

I believe he even acknowledged this and tried to tell the others what was going on but when he tried saying "I'm using the wrong words" he said something like "I'm using the wrong (insert random word)"

I feel it might be from one of these but I really just can't seem to remember:

• Red Dwarf → Kryten
• Star Trek → Data
• Short Circuit → Johnny 5

Or it might be from something else I can't recall. Please help.
