Canning Town - North Greenwich possible to travel?

Hi, sorry I am not familiar with London. We are going to a concert in O2. I was looking some places to stay around and saw that the Canning Town station is only one stop away. But when I use google maps to plan journey from Canning Town to North Greenwich it keeps only showing bus route (JL-3) and not the underground... is it not working? Thanks a lot for the help!
