14+3 di/di twins brown spotting
Hey all! I'm trying to keep myself from spiraling so I'm here to find some mental peace😅
I'm 14+4 with di/di twins through IVF. At 5+4 I had a massive bleed and thought we had lost them (we had seen the sacks + yolks that same morning) and it turned out to be a large SCH. Despite the doctors preparing us for the worst case scenario, our babies are fighters and the SCH is now gone. Every test and US has been great which has been a relief.
As I said, last Friday I had my regular OB appointment and she did a vaginal US because I saw some thin, thin threads of blood when wiping during the night and she wanted to make sure everything was ok which it was. She also gave me the steps to stop my progesterone since I have been on a high dosage due to the SCH and Friday we started to take it down a bit. Now, today (Sunday) I admit I have been on my feet longer than usual since I had a tone of clothes to iron/put away and I was feeling quite ok and motivated. After lunch I had a small nap and I felt some twinges/pressure but nothing out of the ordinary and nothing extremely painful. I went to walk our dog for like 45-50 minutes. He is a great walker and we don't go like super fast since he stops to smell a lot so it isn't very tiring or anything. Then, when I got home I had to pee and when I wiped I saw light brown discharge, then like three tiny red spots and then light brown again. It wasn't a big amount and it was less and less everytime I wiped.
However, Idk if I have PTSD from the SCH or it's that I'm just an anxious person but I've been freaking out since then. I had a long, not too hot, shower and I'm now resting on my sofa but the fear is there and I can't shake the feeling that something might be wrong despite having seen that everything was ok two days ago...
My next OB appointment is in 16 days which seems like an eternity atm.
Please if you could share with me your positive stories with spotting 🙏 I have been SO afraid to even imagine these babies and when I'm starting to hope for the future this happens...😞
