Good App but what if I am on a Wired Connection?

Hi I like the app and it works well BUT I have my PS5 connected to the internet via LAN Cable. The app only detects the game when I switch to Wifi connection. Is there anyway I can use this on a Lan Cable and the app only detects the same network (router) but using wifi? Like perhaps via my IP address and a password or something?
