Does anyone else feel like having a body is a lot of work sometimes?
Like for example I’m not great with transitions and ughhh what do you mean I need to stop what I’m doing to go in the kitchen, meal prep, eat… and then clean up…
That means while I’m writing a paper , I’m going to have to be interrupted by this task and then I have to come back and try to find all my thoughts again and get my focus energy back… like it’s a good thing I have an appetite or I would forget to eat… sometimes I’m more hungry sometimes I’m less hungry but I’ll get so focused and then realize I’m hungry … and I realize it’s been 4 hours already ? Like oh that’s right no wonder I’m hungry…
Sometimes I’ll go on a brisk walk or a shower before I eat just for motivation because I wish I could snap my fingers and have food and have my space clean…
Or I notice I need to pee right when I’m comfortable and watching a show… and feeling like “didn’t I JUST pee?”
Having a body is a lot of work… sometimes I wish I could take a pill in the morning and have all the calories and nutrients I need in the pill… I would save so much time and money! That’s the other thing I don’t like about having a body, having a body is expensive! In this economy.?!
When I’m dealing with a lot of stress or financially and emotionally struggling (I’m between jobs right now… ) having a body to take care of is so annoying…
Imagine being rich I would literally pay for cleaners and cooks… just to save time .
