Why in Casablanca is hard to find espresso?

Every time i go back to Casablanca and I ask a espresso coffee they give me a black coffee.

I try to tell them: espresso, the italian coffee! I show them photos, they say okay.

But then they give me a black coffee with a bit of milk.

Only in richer areas with fancier cafè they same to have espresso with Illy and Lavazza.

If I go to Sbata or any popular neighboor I noticed that most of them only do black coffee and cappuccino.

I was in the wrong cafè or is espresso only made in fancier cafè?
