Expectant Mom

Hi everyone,

I live in Maryland, and I’m currently on Medicaid due to a recent layoff that came suddenly. I know Medicaid covers a breast pump, but I’m wondering what other benefits or coverage I should look into as I’m expecting a baby in a few weeks.

Has anyone in MD been through this?

What benefits did your insurance cover?

Did you get prenatal vitamins, lactation support, doula visits, diapers, formula, or other supplies?

Any tips for submitting claims or navigating the system?
