Is it weird for a guy to own a womanizer to use with different partners?

I was with a new partner recently and mentioned I like using toys during (hetero) sex. She said “cool, what do you have?” and I said I don’t have any, I have always used whatever my partner had.

She kinda acted like I should/could buy my own (I had already mentioned the Womanizer) for whoever I was with. I always thought women would find that to be gross? She said keep it washed and clean and put a condom on it and it shouldn’t be a problem.

So, I bought a womanizer and I have a date tonight (different person) but I’m still not sure how (or if) to bring it up. What do you guys think?
