Are there non metal gym durable frames that can still be considered an eyewear enthusiast's pair of glasses?
I'm wondering if any of you know of product lines or brands that fall under this category, other than Mykita Mylon? Not sure if I'm a fan of the look of Mylons. Would I just have to resort to any ordinary pair of glasses? The main reason I said not metal in the title is because they're often very thin all around so they'te more likely to blend in. But I'm not totally against metal if they aren't like that. I now have 3 pairs of Matsudas, 2 masunaga chord frames, 1 masunaga kenzo frame, 1 barton perreira frame, and would like something a little more elevated for gym glasses but retains the durability for when I sweat like a pig or drop them accidentally. I like the look of Oliver's People's, Eyevan glasses, but I just dont want to abuse less durable nice frames. Right now for my active pair of glasses I still use a Cade 1.0 from Roka that I've absolutely beat to hell. I know metal is the obvious choice for resistance against sweat and grime, but does this community know of anything else?
