Why do people lie about values ?

So earlier I was in a trading server trying to do a trade I’ve been looking to do for a while. The trade was a NFR bunny swirl (me) for a FR Sakura Spirit (them). On Elve my NFR bunny swirl is valued as a 6.5 and the FR Sakura spirit is valued at 4. I told the person I was trading this and they told me to my face my bunny swirl was valued at ONE. I honestly just had to laugh and I called them out for it and then they just immediately declined. They also tried to ask for my FR CCBD for it which would be a SEVENTEEN OP. I told them I was only doing that for a NFR Sakura Spirit (which they did not have). 🙃 idk the whole situation felt weird and I wanna know where they got that number from 🫠 the bunny swirl and Sakura spirit are even on amvgg as well and they’re not valued at 1 so… 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
