Job market in San Diego?

Feeling out a move to San Diego, what's the job market out there for programmers? Looking to do aerospace as that's what I'm currently doing, moving from Florida so I'd need a significant pay bump but have a feeling they aren't to far ahead pay wise. Any fellow programmer/machinists in the SD area with some insight?
